Dorn is a fantasy strategic role-playing game. One of the players is the Dorn Keeper, who each turn spawns various new monsters. Five heroes need to battle the monsters, collect three sacred artifacts and finally defeat the Dorn Keeper.

The game uses no dice in combat (a hero kills a weak monster, wounds a stronger one; more than one monster is needed to wound a hero), has superb graphics and includes variety of options and skills to ensure replayability - players can choose from nine heroes, various items can be found on the board, some passages are randomly blocked, the Dorn Keeper can cast different special spells in each game, etc.)

Both heroes and the Dorn Keeper can advance in levels, thus gaining new skills (heroes by gaining experience from slain monsters, Dorn Keeper by causing enough wounds to heroes).

By late 1943, the fortunes of war had turned decidedly against Germany.

Besieged and in retreat on all fronts and faced with the inevitable invasion from the Western Allies, the Luftwaffe was ordered to re-launch bombing operations against England.

Scraping together the few remaining assets in France, to include the new He177 “Greif” (Griffon),operations began against London in January 1944. At the same time, RAF Bomber Command has been steadily increasing its nightly attacks on German cities. The successful continued bombing of Hamburg (“The Battle of Hamburg”) has led to a sustained bombing campaign over Berlin. As the chief of RAF Bomber Command, can you continue to pound the German cities, thus halting war production and driving the German population to its knees? As commander of the German Nachtjägd, will the new bombing campaign which includes the V1, the first of many new “wonder weapons” turn the tide of the war? The decisions are yours to make in “Baby Blitz”!

This expansion for Duel in the Dark introduces the British Wellington bomber, which allows more flexibility of movement. It also uses twenty ground defense objects instead of forty.

Fly the skies of Europe! Soar from city to city, creating an interconnected web of air routes to satisfy customer demands. As your airline grows, you will be adding more and more valuable flights to your schedule. Manage your money carefully, and be prepared when Vacation time comes around, and you could end up ruling the airways!

Spend money to place your airplanes on key airlinks between cities. The first to place an airplane on a link gains the rights to that link, but other players can still pay to use it. Flight cards show the consumer demand for flights between cities. When you have a continuous path of airlinks between the cities, you can claim the Flight card, adding that flight to your schedule. Longer flights are worth more points, but the short flights are easier (and less expensive) to achieve, and they bring in just as much income as the long flights. At the end, the player with the most valuable collection of flights on his schedule wins Jet Set!

Better be quick - Jungle Speed, the tribal game of fast reactions, brings out the beast in you!

As you and your opponents flip over your cards, with some maddeningly similar symbols on, try to be the first to spot a match and grab the totem in the middle.

And if you’re the first to get rid of your cards, then you’re the leader of your tribe!

Be careful though, grab the totem at the wrong time and you’ll face a heavy penalty! Jungle Speed is the frenzy game with a different rhythm.

Kamisado is a game of pure skill and strategy! There are no dice, cards or any other chance element. It’s just you against your opponent! The aim in each round is to be the first to get an octagonal ‘dragon tower’ to the opposite side of the board, by moving the towers in straight lines, either forwards or diagonally forwards. It sounds easy doesn’t it, but the twist is that you can only move a tower if its colour matches the colour of the square that your opponent last moved to. Also, you will find that the routes you want to use are blocked by enemy towers (and sometimes your own!). As the game unfolds, your towers will be promoted to ‘Sumos’, and will have the ability to push your opponents pieces backwards, earning you extra turns. The situations continue to become more complex and challenging, until one player accumulates the required winning total and can be declared a ‘Kamisado Grand Master’ – until the next game!

KRIEGBOT, the future of robotic combat vehicles. Secretly outfit your robot with weapons like railguns, EMP blasters, and chainsaws. Add a couple of systems like targeting computers, incendiary munitions, or radar. Mount all of this hardware on a unique chassis, like a hovercraft or a helicopter, and then team up and battle it out with other kriegbots on a tactical terrain map.

Beside 6th player components and rules the game has brand new aspect presented: when visiting towns, the players get supporters from various social classes and build a retinue. These loyals help players during the game or the final scoring.

A Chronicle Book for Mage: The Awakening™

You are a great master builder in the Middle Ages. You employ master craftsmen, foremen, tradesmen and apprentices. You bid on building contracts and with your workforce construct buildings. Upon completing each building you receive money so you can pay wages and possibly take on extra workers.

Unforeseen events such as town fairs, fires and higher wages in other cities can make managing your projects very difficult. Also, not all workers are as committed to their jobs as others and some may just not show up for work simply because they were out late the evening before.

All this could result in you having to deal with higher costs, late completions of your building projects or the need to dismiss workers. In the course of the game beautiful buildings will be created and at the end a medieval city will stand in the middle of the table -- complete with city walls, fortified towers, city gates, houses and a town hall.

Your aim is to become the greatest and most famous master builder of the Middle Ages. Of course, your opponents will have the same aim so a lively contest will develop for supremacy in the building trade. The winner will be the player who has the most money at the end of the game.

In this game, players blind bid each round to claim Dynasty cards in order to control the Emperor, Heir, Palace, Market, and Harvest. However, the heavens, in the guise of the Celestial Dragon, can disrupt the best-laid plans. The game ends as the Emperor dies and whoever gains the most influence will ascend the throne.

Reiner Knizia’s newest big box game, Municipium. This is classic Knizia at his finest!

A prime mechanism of Roman expansion and control in the provinces (and in Italy during the conquest of the peninsula c. 500 – 265 BC) was the municipium (later the colonia), the premiere Roman provincial town. The game takes place in one of these municipalities.

Players are each in control of a powerful family and try to strategically place their family members in the various institutions throughout the municipium and gain the support of the citizens; Scholars, Merchants, Soldiers, Priests and possibly even the Praefect. At various times in the game, if a player has the most influence in an institution, the player can exert the power of that institution and gain the support of certain citizens. Meanwhile, the preafect moves around the municipium and players strive to have the most influence in the institution that he visits, thereby earning his favour. There are seven institutions; Temple, Baths, Emporium, Praetorium, Tavern, Basilica and Forum, each of which have their unique powers with which players must decide how and when to use in an attempt to become the most influential family in the municipium.

Invent a reason to invade a nation rich with petroleum, make everyone believe that your actions are legitimate and done in the name of freedom and justice, make sure the media plays along by giving false information for a long time: this is the formula for becoming rich beyond your wildest dreams. Luckily, this is only a game and would never happen in real life!
