One of our best-selling Twin Tower PlayCentres, the Twin Arundel offers loads of FUN. The two wooden towers with 90cm (3ft) square wooden platforms are connected by a 1.6m (63”) long clatterbridge. Access to the towers can be by the wide wooden staircase, the wooden rungs or using the 8 rung by 4 strand commando net. From one tower leads a strong 3m (10ft) wavy green slide, off the other is attached the tall swing-arm with its two wooden swings. Depending on your garden layout the swing arm, commando net and staircase may be positioned off the two towers in a variety of ways, either to create a long thin unit or a squarer U-shaped design. Beneath one of the towers is a sandpit with seats for little children. Access to one tower is provided by our wide wooden staircase with specially designed steps spaced for little feet and legs. To the other tower attaches a sturdy ramp with rope, steep enough to be fun for older children and at the same time providing a challenge for 2 year olds. The strong 3m (10 feet) green wavy slide makes up the third exit element. For the little ones the wooden sandpit built into the base of one tower, complete with two seats, is a magnet for creative opportunities.

To conclude the terrific range of features comes our assault course complete with exciting climbing wall and tall scramble net, joined to one tower by a substantial swing arm fitted with two wooden swings. The largest of our Playcentres, the Gate Lodge has been copied by some but still has no equal in terms of quality, features or price. This unit was designed to provide a getaway space for teenagers, a club-house for 12 year olds and a play-house for little ones, as well as a Playcentre with slide, swings and climbing face. It is the type of climbing frame / treehouse / fort we all wished we had when we were children! It measures 1.8m x 1.8m (6ft x 6ft) with an interior cabin size of 1.8m x 1.2m (6ft x 4ft). At ground level is a fenced wooden floor fitted out with a wooden table 70cm (28”) long x 40cm (16”) wide and two wooden bench seats 90cm (35”) long x 25cm (10”) wide. Even with the table and chairs present there is a substantial amount of space available for toy storage or a small sandpit. Outside a 60cm (24”) wide wooden ladder leads to the balcony, 1.5m (5ft) off the ground. If you have small children the optional Wooden Staircase (ATJE 247) can be added. Wooden railings control access off the balcony for safety and peace of mind, with a 3m (10ft) wavy green slide at one end & a rock-climbing wall at the other. The swing-arm is supplied with two adjustable wooden swings.

The single Monmouth has been designed to provide a Playcentre for children of varied ages, as well as a strong base for adding more climbing features for older active children. The prime differences between the Single Arundel and the Monmouth are the inclusion of a sturdy and attractive wooden staircase allowing easy access for very young children and a larger 90cm (3ft) x 120cm (4ft) enclosed platform. The tower provides access to the 3m (10ft) wavy green slide, and the enclosed balustrades are perfect for creating an imaginary fort or castle. Attached to one side of the tower is an 8 rung x 4 strand commando net, on the other the tall swing arm with two adjustable height wooden swings and climbing rope. See-Saws have always been fun, and ours have been designed to offer years of sensible use. The main beam is 3m (118") long and 9cm x 9cm (3.6") square, pivoting on a single ash bearing 38 mm (1.5") in diameter. Hidden within the support base is a steel bolt running from one side to the other, providing for a strong pivot support structure. The two shaped seats are made from a waterproof material similar to bakelite, whilst the two handles (38mm (1.5") are large enough to give a feeling of security and comfort when holding on.

A large imposing tower for younger children with FOUR platforms spiraling around within the frame and lots of play variety. Children love this tower because the multiple platforms allow them to hide and access the tower so easily, without any exposed balconies. A short ladder reaches up to the first platform, 60cm (24”) off the ground. 30cm (12”) higher is another platform with a wooden climbing ramp (with rope) back down to the ground for fun and exercise. A further 30cm up is the third platform, hidden around the corner. The final platform leads to the 3m (10ft) wavy green slide. On one side of the tower is attached an 8 rung x 4 strand commando net. The swing arm on this PlayCentre is only 2.5m (98”) high to allow the fitting of our 2-seater wooden jouster accessory in place of one swing. All swings provided are fully adjustable for height.
